About our veneers

What are Withasmile Veneers?

Withasmile veneers are a cosmetic dental product, designed to clip on top of your existing teeth to provide you with a brand new, bright and beautiful smile.

What are the veneers made from?

Our veneers are manufactured using a specialist flexible resin. It is a certified dental material that is ideal for cosmetic dental products, as well as being BPA and Monomer free. This crystallised resin is far more durable than standard acrylic, being also used for heart valve replacement and other minor applications in dentistry. NASA even use it within their aircraft cabinetry, because of its durability. It is very strong and polishes beautifully. Be wary of other companies who are selling inferior acrylic versions of our veneers.

Am I suitable for veneers?

Our veneers are designed for most people to be able to wear, although there are some instances where they may not be suitable.

Our veneers can:

  • Cover discoloured teeth
  • Cover chipped teeth
  • Cover missing teeth (no more than 4 in a row)
  • Make wonky or overcrowded teeth appear uniform and straight
  • Be made to work with under bites and cross bites.

They cannot:

  • Cover loose teeth
  • Be worn by wearers of dentures
  • Cover a gap larger than 4 teeth in a row

If you are unsure, please contact us before ordering to discuss your individual requirements, at info@withasmilespain.com

Using your veneers

How do the veneers attach?

The veneers simply attach over your existing teeth to give you an authentic looking, brand new smile. They attach by clipping onto tooth 6 (counting out from the centre of your mouth). If this tooth is missing, a shorter arch can be created to clip onto tooth 4 or 5 instead. We cannot clip to the teeth further back in the mouth, as this would interfere with your natural bite.

Each set of veneers comes packaged with chewies and a retriever, to help you with easily inserting and removing your veneers.

Will these veneers damage my teeth?

If used correctly, absolutely not. They have been developed by experienced dental technicians.

There is no drilling, shaving of natural tooth structure, grinding, or any other invasive procedure necessary to wear clip on veneers. They are completely reversible and cause no damage to existing teeth. We use exactly the same technology as Invisalign braces - these have to be worn for up to 20 hours a day for 3 years. These Invisalign braces have been proven to not cause any dental harm, and neither do our veneers.

The function of the veneers is purely cosmetic. They are not designed to affect the structure or function of teeth.

Good oral hygiene should still be maintained. The veneers are passive and do not either contribute to, or reduce, plaque build up or tooth decay. As long as you follow good oral hygiene, the veneers will not cause damage to your teeth.

*The client agrees to wear Withasmile Veneers at their own risk.

How long can you wear the veneers for?

Our veneers are designed to be safe to be worn all day, every day if desired. Please just remove them to sleep. Not all customers want to use them in this way, however - some prefer to keep them for wearing outside of the home or for special occasions only. How much you choose to wear them is really up to you.

Can I eat with veneers in?

Yes, our veneers are safe to use while eating. There is no need to remove them. Good oral hygiene should always still be practised. Just be careful of any particularly chewy or abrasive foods that could cause damage to the veneers.

Do I need to clean my veneers?

Like natural teeth, our veneers can discolour slightly over time, depending on lifestyle. They should therefore be regularly and carefully cleaned using the cleaning brush that comes packaged with them. Boiling water should not be used as this can damage them.

When removed, the veneers can be soaked in cleaning solution, although this is not a requirement as long as they have been properly cleaned. Treat them as you would a brace or retainer.

Can you feel the veneers when wearing them?

It is important to understand that our clip on veneers will always likely make your teeth feel slightly thicker/longer/wider/bigger than your normal teeth.

One benefit of our veneers is that they are non-invasive and do not require the removal of any tooth structure. Consequently, they are worn over the tips of your teeth like a very thin gum shield. It is much the same as wearing an orthodontic retainer.

The effect is only slight, and reduced even further with our new ultra thin veneers. Don't let it worry you - it is easy to get accustomed to.

Will the veneers affect my speech?

The mouth is sensitive, so anything new usually takes a period of adjustment. This is the same for permanent veneers, orthodontic treatments, or mouth piercings. For the first few days or weeks it is possible that you will have a slight lisp, but this will always diminish as your mouth gets used to the product. With a little perseverance, your mouth will feel like normal in no time when wearing your veneers.

The ordering process

Where are the veneers made?

All of our veneers are custom made in the UK by specialist dental technicians, who together have over 40 years experience of working in dentistry.

How does ordering work?

Ordering your veneers can all be done from the comfort of your own home. No expensive or painful dentist visits are required.

After choosing your perfect shade of white, place your order in our secure online shop. You will then be sent a dental impression kit in the post for you to complete at home. This is very straightforward and instructions and videos are available to help you with this. Once complete, return to us by post.

Once we receive your completed impression kit, we will begin manufacturing your custom made veneers at our UK laboratory.

When the veneers are ready, they will be promptly shipped directly back to you, so that you can begin enjoying the confidence that a brand new smile can bring.

Do the veneers come in a choice of shades?

Our veneers can be purchased in 4 different shades of white. Simply select your chosen shade at the checkout.

For more help in choosing your perfect colour, please refer to our shades of white guide.

Is it difficult to complete the home impression kit?

Creating your own dental impressions using our home impression kit is actually surprisingly straightforward, with instructions and videos available to help. We also supply every kit with extra clay, so that you can have another go at it in the unlikely event that you make a mistake the first time.

Is the ordering process secure?

Rest assured that all orders are placed using our secure online shop. Payments are taken via the secure and internationally recognised Paypal gateway (customers without a Paypal account can also use their debit or credit cards to place orders on this platform).

How long do the veneers take to make?

Once your order is received, we aim for you to receive your impression kit within 2 working days. Once this kit has been completed and returned, we can begin making your veneers. This can usually be completed in under 14 working days, although in some circumstances can take slightly longer. As soon as they are complete, they will be promptly sent out to you.

Unfortunately the new customs requirements following Brexit for packages entering and exiting the UK may result in some additional delay that is out of our control.

We understand that nobody likes to wait for the excitement of receiving their new veneers, so will always work to process orders as quickly as we can.

Do I need to visit a dentist?

No - A big advantage of our veneers is that the whole process can be completed without you ever having to leave the comfort of your own home!

customer satisfaction

Where do you ship to?

We are currently able to ship to any address in Spain, or elsewhere in the E.U. However, due to courier restrictions, we are sadly unable to ship to P.O. boxes.

How much does shipping cost?

Shipping costs for the initial impression kit and completed veneers:

  • Mainland Spain and Balearic Islands: FREE
  • Canary Islands, Ceuta, Melilla: €9.99
  • Elsewhere in the mainland European Union: €9.99

The completed impression kit will need to be returned to us at your own expense, in all cases. We recommend using a tracked delivery service, as we cannot be held responsible for lost packages.

What if I discover I am not suitable after ordering?

We will of course refund your purchase amount in full if it is established that you are not suitable for our veneers, before manufacturing has begun.

If unsure, please contact us before ordering, at info@withasmilespain.com.

Can I cancel my order?

If you change your mind, within 30 days of placing your order and prior to using your impression kit, you can return your order to us (at your own expense) in its original condition for a full refund, minus any shipping costs (where applicable).

What if my veneers do not fit right?

Although uncommon, as the impression kit is completed at home by the customer, there are instances where the veneers will not fit quite right the first time.

In this instance, please contact us within 14 days of receiving your order to discuss the problem. If a change is required, we will be happy to conduct this adjustment for you in our laboratory, at no extra cost to yourself.

What if my veneers are defective when I receive them?

All our veneers come with a 30 day 100% money back guarantee for any manufacturing defects. These are classed as the product being short on the gum line, or a loose fit (both of which can occur from an incorrect impression having been taken by the customer). These faults will require a new impression from the customer before the issue can be resolved, and the veneers to be returned to us.

All of our veneers are securely packaged in hard cases, to avoid any chance of damage in transit. As such, we cannot accept returns for broken or damaged products.

If you discover any problem, please contact us in the first instance to discuss the matter with us.

Our manufacturing warranty does not extend to any of the following:

  • Misuse of the product

  • Accidental damage

  • Attempted repairs

  • Change of mind involving colour shade

  • Replacement arches
